Dog Bed is Finished!

The dog bed is finished and I'm putting it up for sale today!
Made out of solid oak, this is one beautiful sturdy bed. Finished with a white antique and protected with Minwax for a lasting finish.
Plush pillow inside the bed with a Giraff Faux Fur hand made cover. The cover has a Velcro edge that seals flat. Cover is removable and washes easily.
This is a one of a kind bed!

Here is the status of one of the dog beds I'm making. So excited on how it is turning out. Still have to make the cushion with the cover. Love this idea of repurposing!

I'm so excited! I just picked up these end tales to make dog and cat beds! I'll keep you posted on my progress. So excited and SO MY kinda fun project!

Plant Containers

I wanted to share these plant containers with you that my father in law made!  I think he did an amazing job!  He made them out of fallen trees from last winter storm.  The small one goes for 30 and the big one goes for 60.  Pease contact me if you're interested.

I Am So Grateful

I want to let all my customers and loyal followers know how grateful I am to have you!  Making this product has made me smile more times than I can say.

I want everyone to know that I will be doing random shows here and there.  What ever I can work into my family schedule right now.  My two little girls are keeping my hands pretty full at this point!

Bunnies are Ready!

The bunnies are all ready for their new homes! I will be at Traci's Produce on Saturday March 9th from 10am to 3pm selling my bunnies and bugs!  Traci's Produce is located at 23110 SE 436th St Enumclaw Wa. It is really easy to find. It is on Enumclaw Auburn Hwy near the Sales Pavilion.
I am selling them for $25 each.

As you can see, I have put a new page on my site!
I have had requests on how to make these bugs from customers and I have decided to put together a "How To" DVD along with guidelines on the best ways to stay on top of the production and demand of this product.

Special Order Dragonfly

This is a new item that I'm adding to my store!  It is a Special Order Dragonfly.  The main body is made of an upcycled chair leg!  All you will need to do is send me your own picture that you would like on the dragonfly wings.  I do the rest! I will post more pictures once I get all the sizes complete.  Hope you like!

I just love the ideas that are on Pintrest!  This was a fun easy craft to do!

The Garage in Seattle

I was very lucky to have just purchased the old house balls from The Garage in Seattle.

It solved a big problem for me since I wasn't sure how many more balls I would be able to get to prep for the coming months.

T-Shirt Quilt

I wanted to share a project that I just finished.
My niece wanted a quilt made out of her old concert t-shirts for a graduation present.

I have to say that it was a bit time consuming with all of the fusing and everything, but I really enjoyed making it.
I used a queen sized blanket that I bought from Fred Meyer for the backing.  Then used the extra fabric left over for the edging.  Seamed to be much less expensive than buying the fabric at the fabric store.

All in all, I think this quilt cost around $65 to make and took around ten hours or so.
I guess that's not to bad for a quilt now that I think about it:)

Family Update

Now I'm 34 weeks pregnant looks like this baby is coming early. We just had our family vacation at ross lake which is my most favorite place in the world! I was so glad to do that before the baby comes. Our two year old got a lot of dance time and had a great time in the boats and fishing.
As for selling the bugs, I will be selling out of my house and from GE and B nursery and Covington creek nursery. If you have any special requests please get them in before the baby comes. Hope everyone is having a great summer!

GREAT Season!

Thank you to the Issaquah farmers market for great season!  I'm sad to be cutting my season short but I really enjoyed working with you and meeting all of the vendors and customers. Take care and I hope to see you next year!

Last Show This Saturday

I'm sorry to say that this will be my last show this saturday at a the issaquah farmers market. My pregnancy is getting too far along to lift all that weight.
